Coming Soon

Coming Soon

Today I will be previewing 3 coming to theaters movies that I believe are must sees. Unless I get a job I doubt I'll see any of them but here's hoping.

Olympus Has Fallen

This one is about Terrorists taking over the White House holding the President Hostage. It comes out March 22nd. It stars Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, and Aaron Eckhart. This looks interesting to watch and a unique twist on the attack on America plot.

The Internship

This is a comedy reuniting Vince Vaughn, and Owen Wilson. The two play salesmen out of work due to rising technology, both end up with a job in Google, working up from the bottom in Google's Internship Program. Hilarity ensues. This comes out June 7th.

Star Trek Into Darkness

The second Star Trek movie directed by J.J. Abrams. I loved the First movie even though not a big fan of the series, can't wait to see what happens. Comes out May 17th an early summer Film.  Most of the original cast returns as well as Benedict Cumberbatch appearing as the new villain. It looks exciting and can't wait.

Tomorrow will be another day of randomness.

YouTube Review

YouTube Review - Alex Goot

This is another Youtube musical artist. Alex Goot started his channel on September 2007 and currently has 900,000 subscribers. I actually got into him though another YouTuber that did a collaboration with him.  Since them I've downloaded quite a few of his songs. From original works, to covers of popular songs.

One of my Favorite Originals is Lightning

This is one of his most recent videos. A collaboration cover of Begin Again.

Last one I'll leave you with is one of his more popular cover Born This Way.

Still don't know what to do for tomorrow Any Ideas??

Double Food Review

Double Food Review - Breakfast Burritos & Peppermint Choco-Chip Cookies

My first Double Food Review. Today we will be doing A meal and a treat. I hope you Enjoy!!!

Breakfast Burritos

I did not use a recipe for this at all. I had help a friend of mine make these to many times I had her recipe semi memorized. First thing you do is fry a package of breakfast sausage to brown and than drain it. Next you brown a package of Ore-Ida cubed potato's. While browning add banana peppers, and red and green peppers to preference. Than in separate pan scramble eggs. Once cooked, add all ingredients together. Place mixture in flour or grain tortilla, add cheese and salsa and enjoy! Everyone enjoyed it so if I went off her recipe it still turned out. takes about 30 to 45 minutes.

Peppermint Choco-Chip Cookies

These were my favorite cookies this Christmas plus the easiest to make. First thing you do is in a small bowl mix 2 1/2 cup flour, 3/4 teaspoon baking soda, and salt (I didn't add much). In a Mixer add 1 cup butter, 1 cup packed brown sugar, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla  Mix well than add 2 eggs. Cream together, and blend in flour mixture. Than add 7 oz chocolate chips, and 7 oz (smashed) peppermint bark. Once mixed together form into quarter size balls place on greased baking sheets. cook in oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Here is the original recipe, but I stayed pretty close on this one.

Well that's it. Tomorrow I will do another YouTube review. I'm debating what to do Friday any Ideas??

Movie Review - A Good Day To Die Hard

Movie Review -  A Good Day to Die Hard

Last Monday I reviewed Live Free or Die Hard and you understood How excited I was for the new Die Hard Movie. This weekend I went and saw it in IMAX. Lets just get into it.

Bruce Willis takes on the role of John McClane in the 5th installment of the Die Hard Franchise. This one John is in search of his son, who happens to be in Russia. Lets just leave the description there. This Movie was hard to put into words. All the other Die Hard's have a specific plot point to it. Bad guy has an evil scheme, john stumbles in on it, and must save the day while working out what is going down. This movie was kinda like that, but than nothing like that. It is trying to be complicated action story and failing badly. The explosions were cool and I went in thinking it was going to be a cheesy action film, but it fails at that to.  The only thing I can say with accuracy is that there is a lot of action and a really bad story line. It made 29.3 million, so hopefully the next one will fix the plot issues.

I would recommend this when it comes out on DVD, because I looked at my ticket and thought there had to be something I could have spent this on instead. I rate this 5 out of 10 not Good but not Bad.

Movie Double Feature

Movie Double Feature - Skyfall and Here Comes The Boom

Last week I learned Paving!! I was tired and in Pain, SO I didn't even turn on my computer till today. This week will be a Double Feature Week to make up for it starting today, with a double feature of Skyfall and Here Comes The Boom!!!

First SKYFALL

I was a huge fan of the Pierce Brosnan Bond. I have been waiting for this bond to catch my attention. With so much good hype I was hoping Skyfall would be the one that reignited my love for Bond. When my brother asked what I thought I just looked at him and said, "I started reading a book mid viewing" I was so disappointed. The plot was not captivating, and beside the ending gun fight, I felt I had seen this done to many times and was left bored. I could look up from my books and know exactly what was happening plot wise. I will say the new Q was Hot. Paid more attention when he was on the TV, but that was it. I would not recommend this at all. Giving it a 3 out of 10.

The Second is Here Comes The Boom.

This movie was a comedy that looked like it could have a lot of promise.  The trailer got me hooked and I knew I had to see it. That being said, do not base the movie off the trailer. It's not as much of a comedy as the trailer makes it out to be. Honestly I found the story touching and cute.  With so many economic downers I could see this being a reality somewhere.  This teacher changes his whole perspective and in turn inspires the staff and students around him. I have to say Henry Wrinkler was the best in this movie. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a semi-funny good natured movie. I give this a 8 out of 10.

Tomorrow I will review the new Die hard movie, and Wednesday will be a Double Food Review!!!
